The TEACH South Africa Experience

TEACH South Africa recruits outstanding recent university graduates to commit to teaching teach Maths, Science, Technology and English in disadvantaged schools, in urban and rural areas, for a period of two years. These TEACH Ambassadors go on to become lifelong leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity.

Each year TEACH Ambassadors are selected by means of a vigorous application and interview process, to ensure selection of the highest-quality candidates. These teacher recruits are then matched to targeted schools, taking into consideration the skill requirements and environmental factors of schools in question.
