Top learners are an inspiration

Grade 10 teacher and TEACH Ambassador at Thuto-Lesedi High School, Mothupi Kgopa, is proud to have taught the school’s top-performing Grade 10 Physics learners. Four of his learners – Thulisile Lukele, Nokuphila Ndlovu, Miriam Maluleke and Tshepo Maphila – have been selected for the Techno-Girl Programme.

Techno-Girl recruits, trains and places grade 10 learners in technology companies during their school holidays until they reach matric.

The learners’ achievement has prompted all Kgopa’s students to work hard and achieve top marks.

“It’s such an honour to be a part of and an agent for change in the lives of young people,” he says.
