TEACH Ambassador recruitment update for 2010
by TEACH South AfricaTEACH South Africa is now interviewing and selecting candidates to become TEACH Ambassadors in 2010.
“This year we are in the enviable position of having students approach TEACH South Africa rather than us approaching them,” says Operations Manager Vuyiswa Ncontsa. “We are building a reputation as a highly selective programme.”
The success of the recruitment campaign is likely to result in more teachers being placed next year than the target of 100. However, should we find that the pool of 1 800 applicants yields only 50 suitable candidates, we will settle for a smaller number as we are obsessive about quality rather than quantity.

May i applaud you for the good work you are doing. Our schools are losing teachers to government departments and private sectors. There is also less interest in most of our youth nowadays.
I hope this programme will go a long way in reviving the interest of teaching to the young and old who have lost it all.
We really need dedicated educators who will make an impact in the education of our children, and through this programme, i believe we will achieve that.
keep up the good work
Thanks

Yes its good to select good quality ambassadors as it would help in developing the education system in South Africa. This would help in stability of the economy as these students are the future leaders of this country.
